What we Can Do For You!

The Beaufort Companye aims to bring to the public a vibrant, interactive and exciting interpretation of medieval military and civilian life during the latter half of the fifteenth century. We are able to puts on a wide range of Living History events from the intimate portrayal of a Lord's Household to tournaments, murder mysteries, castle sieges and, as members of the Wars of the Roses Federation, full scale battle re-enactments incorporating combined archery, infantry, cannon and cavalry displays.

The Members of the Companye, who are able to draw on many years of experience and research, will take on various characters, roles and guises, from nobility to commoners, knights to common soldiers and ladies to cooks and kitchen staff.

At your event our members will deliver performances to an agreed timetable that will be tailored to your personal event requirements and which can feature on the hour and half hour displays, talks and demonstrations that will easily dovetail with your opening times or other site activities. Formal performances will be backed up with continual interaction between our members and the public throughout the day.

All this will be set within an authentic tented Living History encampment and/or within your buildings and in line with an agreed medieval scenario which, wherever possible, will be based on actual historical events associated with the site.
